Glenthorne National Park News
On Friday 3 December 2021 a tour of Glenthorne Park took place as part of rediscovering Adelaide and was arranged in association with the Minister for the Environment, the Hon. David Speirs. Glenthorne Park merged with the former O’Halloran Hill Recreation Park creating a protected area of 545 hectares. On 28 May 2020 His Excellency, the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC, the Governor of SA proclaimed the new Glenthorne National Park Ityamaiitpinna Yarta under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972.
